Dr. Bill and Barbara Peters gave their lives to Jesus Christ in 1971 and began a street ministry for U.S. Marines in 29 Palms California. After serving many years in Christian education as founders of schools, teachers and administrators the Peters settled in the San Fernando Valley in 1989 and started Angel Fire Fellowship.
They incorporated as a church in 1992 and planted (dba) Angel Fire Christian Center. The Peters were always involved with children in Christian education and in 2000 decided to get involved with the AIDS orphans of Soweto, South Africa by building a children’s village orphanage with a 12,000 sq.ft. dorm dining facility. At the same time they worked equally hard planting 4 other churches in Los Angeles County that makes up the coalition they lead.

In 2012 with their work in Africa well established they decided to turn most of their attention locally toward the needy people in L.A. County. They have led their coalition into local evangelism that reaches from Lancaster to Simi Valley. They have found a great need for help among single mothers, and the families of the unemployed. It is their plan to lead their coalition in a mission to reach as many of these disadvantaged as possible to Jesus Christ.
About Angel Fire Christian Center
Angel Fire Christian Center is an Apostolic Center. Our passion is to equip those who attend our Center, to see them rise up into the fullness of their destiny in Jesus Christ. We are here to see God's Kingdom mandate be fulfilled so that the Kingdom of heaven would be the primary influence on all 7 mountains of society. That is to say that God's will would be done on earth as it is heaven on all 7 mountains of influence.
The 7 Mountains are those areas that make up a society or nation. They are Religion, Family, Education, Government, News Media, Arts and Entertainment and Business/Economy. We want to intercede and work with intercessors to pray for what God is doing in lives those who come here, as they walk out their destiny to see God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We have weekly Sunday afternoon and Wednesday night meetings. Typically on Sundays, we begin with worship and praise, have a time of teaching and preaching, then pray and take communion. During those times we make room for prophetic words and more. However, our first priority is to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit. As a result, we are more focused on what Holy Spirit wants to do than following our own agenda.
On Wednesday Nights we focus on Praise, Worship, Prayer, and Prophesy again following the lead of Holy Spirit. Our meeting times are Sundays from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and Wednesday nights from 7 pm - 9 pm.
